Alexander Herrera
Alexander Herrera brings an empathic approach to the therapeutic process, supporting the client through the many emotions they may feel.
Alexander Herrera graduated Northern Illinois university with a Masters Degree in Marriage and Family Therapy. Alexander’s experience includes working in the community mental health system at Ben Gordon Center in DeKalb Illinois as a Marriage and Family Therapist. There he conducted assessments, treatment planning, and referrals to community based resources for his multicultural and diverse clients.
Alexander Herrera uses a systemic approach to identify dysfunctional patterns in the family system then engages in processing the emotions surrounding patterns to develop new systems.
