Background
Eve was born and raised in Illinois. She earned her first nursing degree at College of DuPage, received her Bachelors of Science from Northern Illinois University, and earned her Master’s degree from the University of Illinois, from all of which she graduated with honors.
Over her thirty years of behavioral health nursing experience, Eve has worked with a variety of clients. She takes a holistic and empathetic approach to client care. She has a special interest in treating ADHD, depression, grief, and late-life mental health issues. During her academic career, Eve researched PTSD in veterans and rapid, minimally invasive, and painless genetic testing to streamline medication management.
She has also been very involved in the community as a 4-H leader, a Girl Scout leader, and a host to five foreign exchange students. Through these activities, Eve found that she was not only helping the community, but also enriching her own skills as a psychiatric nurse. As a continuation of her nursing education, she started a branch of SHARE for infant and neonatal loss in DeKalb, IL, and has also been a volunteer facilitator at Group Hope. She is currently on the Access to Mental Health Care Committee in Boone County. In addition, she has been a marriage ministry table leader for several years at a summer retreat camp.
